El embalse de retención de inundaciones Lorch-Waldhausen, también conocido como espacio de retención de inundaciones Lorch-Waldhausen, fue construido de 2006 a 2008. Se encuentra en el Rems, por encima de Waldhausen y por debajo de Lorch. El embalse es el tercero construido por la asociación de agua Rems, después del embalse de retención de inundaciones Schorndorf-Winterbach y el embalse de retención de inundaciones Reichenhof/Schwäbisch Gmünd, y se clasifica con el número 9. Fue inaugurado el 30 de mayo de 2008.
