El monasterio de San Jacobo en Pegau fue un monasterio benedictino que se encontraba en la ciudad de Pegau. Fue una de las fundaciones monásticas más antiguas en Sajonia. Se hizo conocido principalmente por los llamados Annales Pegaviensis, los anales de Pegau, del año 1155, que eran una importante historiografía medieval.
El margrave de Meissen y de Lusacia, Wiprecht von Groitzsch, funda en el año 1091 el monasterio benedictino de San Jacobo en Pegau. Lo planea como monasterio doméstico y lugar de enterramiento. Cinco años más tarde, el monasterio fue consagrado.
