La iglesia católica romana del Espíritu Santo en Georgsmarienhütte-Oesede fue construida entre 1961 y 1964.
La iglesia se encuentra en el suroeste de Oesede. La comunidad del Espíritu Santo cuenta con aproximadamente 2200 católicos. La parroquia, que pertenece a la Diócesis de Osnabrück, forma una comunidad de parroquias con San Pedro y San Pablo, Santa María de la Paz y San Juan/Santa María. La iglesia del Espíritu Santo es la iglesia situada a mayor altitud en la comunidad de parroquias. Su cúspide tiene una altura de 176,313 m sobre el nivel del mar, seguida de la iglesia de María de la Paz con 161,536 m.
