L'église catholique romaine du Saint-Esprit à Georgsmarienhütte-Oesede a été construite de 1961 à 1964.
L'église est située au sud-ouest d'Oesede. La paroisse du Saint-Esprit compte environ 2200 catholiques. La paroisse, qui fait partie du diocèse d'Osnabrück, forme une communauté paroissiale avec Saint-Pierre et Saint-Paul, Sainte-Marie de la Paix et Saint-Jean/Saint-Marie. L'église du Saint-Esprit est l'église située le plus haut dans la communauté paroissiale. Son sommet de croix atteint une hauteur de 176,313 m au-dessus du niveau de la mer, suivie par l'église Sainte-Marie de la Paix à 161,536 m.
