El Puente Augusto es el puente más antiguo de la ciudad de Dresde, en el estado de Sajonia en Alemania. Fue construido entre 1907 y 1910. Cruza el río Elba, conectando el Innere Neustadt al norte (margen derecha) con la zona histórica de la ciudad al sur (margen izquierda). Ha habido un puente en el mismo lugar desde al menos el siglo XII. Bajo el rey Augusto II el Fuerte de Sajonia, se construyó un nuevo puente de arenisca entre 1727 y 1731. Este puente fue reemplazado por el puente actual, también de arenisca, con 9 arcos para proporcionar una apertura más amplia para el tráfico fluvial. Fue diseñado por Wilhelm Kreis y Theodor Klette.[1] Tres líneas de tranvía de los Dresdner Verkehrsbetriebe pasan sobre el Puente Augusto.[2]
