Il Ponte Augusto è il ponte più antico della città di Dresda, nello stato della Sassonia in Germania. Fu costruito tra il 1907 e il 1910. Attraversando il fiume Elba, il ponte stradale collega l'Innere Neustadt a nord (banca destra) con l'area storica della città a sud (banca sinistra). Esiste un ponte nello stesso luogo almeno dal XII secolo. Sotto il re Augusto II il Forte di Sassonia, un nuovo ponte in arenaria fu costruito tra il 1727 e il 1731. Questo ponte fu sostituito dall'attuale, anch'esso in arenaria, con 9 archi per fornire un'apertura più ampia per il traffico fluviale. È stato progettato da Wilhelm Kreis e Theodor Klette.[1] Tre linee di tram delle Dresdner Verkehrsbetriebe attraversano il Ponte Augusto.[2]
