La mina de mineral de hierro Lengede-Broistedt pertenecía al Ilseder Hütte y se encontraba en el municipio de Lengede, en Baja Sajonia, a lo largo de la línea de tren Braunschweig-Hildesheim.
La mina se hizo conocida para el gran público debido al accidente minero de Lengede, una catástrofe minera que ocurrió el 24 de octubre de 1963 en la mina de mineral de hierro de Lengede-Broistedt en el pozo Mathilde. El evento se ha conocido también como el "milagro de Lengede" debido a la sorprendente rescate de once mineros atrapados.
