El castillo de Rheda es un antiguo castillo de agua en Rheda-Wiedenbrück, en el distrito de
Gütersloh. El castillo de Rheda es internacionalmente conocido por su capilla doble de la época de los Staufer y su valiosa biblioteca musical.
El castillo de Rheda es uno de los poderosos castillos de agua tempranos en Westfalia, que también fue el centro de un dominio inmediato del imperio y vivió la transición de la construcción militar de la Edad Media a la residencia barroca del señor feudal. Bajo la protección del castillo, en el siglo XIV se fundó la ciudad de Rheda como centro económico del pequeño dominio de Rheda.
