El Wernerwald es un bosque de aproximadamente 315 hectáreas ubicado en el área urbana de Cuxhaven en Baja Sajonia, Alemania. El bosque se encuentra entre las localidades de Sahlenburg, Holte-Spangen y Arensch.
El Wernerwald es, junto a un bosque en Dangast y Sankt Peter-Ording, la única área forestal de Alemania que se sitúa directamente en la costa del Mar del Norte. En el suelo arenoso crecen principalmente pinos. Desde el 5 de enero de 1939, el Wernerwald está bajo protección paisajística. En él se encuentran el Finkenmoor y un estanque que se alimenta de fuentes subterráneas. Como área recreativa, está atravesado por muchos senderos para caminatas y equitación, y es especialmente popular entre los lugareños, pero también entre los turistas.
