El Grupo IMA Schelling es un consorcio germano-austriaco que desarrolla y fabrica máquinas e instalaciones para la industria de la madera, metal y plástico. Sus sedes principales se encuentran en la ciudad de Lübbecke y en el municipio de Schwarzach.
La fundación tuvo lugar en 1951 en Gütersloh por Erich Klessmann. La empresa IMA se formó a partir de TEXTIMA al concentrarse en la fabricación de equipos para la industria de la madera. La planta en Lübbecke se estableció en 1960 inicialmente solo como una fábrica mecánica. En 1989 comenzó la cooperación con IMA Meinert. A partir de 1991, debido a la globalización de los mercados, se iniciaron la creación de sociedades de distribución en todo el mundo.
