Le groupe IMA Schelling est un groupe d'entreprises germano-autrichien qui développe et produit des machines et des installations pour l'industrie du bois, des métaux et des plastiques. Ses sièges principaux se trouvent dans la ville de Lübbecke et dans la commune de Schwarzach.
La fondation a eu lieu en 1951 à Gütersloh par Erich Klessmann. L'entreprise TEXTIMA s'est transformée en IMA en se concentrant sur la fabrication d'appareils pour l'industrie du bois. L'usine de Lübbecke a été créée en 1960, d'abord uniquement en tant qu'entreprise de production mécanique. En 1989, la coopération avec IMA Meinert a commencé. À partir de 1991, en raison de la mondialisation des marchés, on a commencé à fonder des sociétés de distribution dans le monde entier.
