El castillo de Frens es un castillo renacentista en el barrio de Ichendorf de la ciudad de Bergheim en el distrito de Rhein-Erft en Renania del Norte-Westfalia.
Como sede familiar de una estirpe de Frens, el "Castrum Vrenze" ya se menciona en 1263. A principios del siglo XIV, esta familia debe haberse extinguido, ya que el castillo pasó a ser propiedad de los condes de Virneburg. En 1347, Ruprecht de Virneburg vendió la casa a su hijastro, el caballero Rutger de Raitz, cuya familia, después de adquirir el castillo, a partir de entonces se llamó Raitz de Frentz. El castillo permaneció en la posesión de esta familia durante casi 400 años.
