La batalla de Dennewitz tuvo lugar el 6 de septiembre de 1813 como parte de las guerras de liberación. En ella, las tropas prusianas, rusas y suecas del ejército del Norte, lideradas por Friedrich Wilhelm von Bülow y Bogislav Friedrich Emanuel von Tauentzien, derrotaron al ejército francés y a los sajones aliados bajo el mando del mariscal Michel Ney.
Esta victoria impidió a Napoleón avanzar hacia Berlín de forma definitiva. A partir de entonces, Napoleón adoptó una posición defensiva, lo que condujo a la decisión en la Batalla de las Naciones en Leipzig.
