De Slag bij Dennewitz vond plaats op 6 september 1813 als onderdeel van de Bevrijdingsoorlogen. Tijdens deze slag versloegen Pruisische, Russische en Zweedse troepen van het Noorderleger, onder leiding van Friedrich Wilhelm von Bülow en Bogislav Friedrich Emanuel von Tauentzien, het Franse leger en de met hen verbonden Saksen onder maarschalk Michel Ney.
Deze overwinning verhinderde Napoleon definitief om door te dringen naar Berlijn. Napoleon bleef vanaf dat moment defensief, wat leidde tot de beslissing in de Slag der Naties bij Leipzig.
