La estación de tren de Falkenberg es una de las más grandes del estado de Brandeburgo. Se encuentra en la ciudad de Falkenberg/Elster, en el sur del país. Desde la estación salen líneas de tren en siete direcciones. Está construida como una estación de torres, donde las líneas en ambos niveles están conectadas por varias curvas de conexión. Tanto en la parte superior como en la inferior de la estación hay grandes instalaciones de maniobras. Durante un tiempo, Falkenberg fue considerada la quinta mayor estación de maniobras de la RDA. Estas instalaciones solo se han utilizado parcialmente desde los años 90.
Un gran edificio de recepción de la estación, construido en 1882, fue destruido durante la Segunda Guerra Mundial; un edificio de restaurante construido durante la época de la RDA fue considerablemente remodelado después de 2010 y hoy sirve como edificio de recepción. Una serie de construcciones de la estación y en su entorno están protegidas por la legislación de patrimonio.
