Manschnow fue mencionado por primera vez en 1336 y hoy es un distrito de la comunidad de Küstriner Vorland en el distrito de Märkisch-Oderland en el estado de Brandeburgo. Junto con otros cuatro lugares, la comunidad de Küstriner Vorland pertenece a la oficina de Golzow.
Hasta 2007, en partes de la antigua propiedad se encontraba la estación experimental Manschnow de la Agencia Estatal de Protección del Consumidor, Agricultura y Reorganización de Tierras de Brandeburgo. La estación experimental, que existió durante 45 años, realizaba ensayos de variedades para los cultivadores de verduras en el Oderbruch. La parte de la comunidad de Herzershof (construida) recibió su nombre del entonces arrendatario y funcionario Herzer.
