Manschnow a été mentionné pour la première fois en 1336 et est aujourd'hui un quartier de la commune de Küstriner Vorland dans le district de Märkisch-Oderland, dans l'État de Brandebourg. Avec quatre autres localités, la commune de Küstriner Vorland fait partie de l'Office de Golzow.
Jusqu'en 2007, une partie de l'ancienne propriété abritait la station d'essai de Manschnow de l'Office du consommateur, de l'agriculture et de la réorganisation foncière de Brandebourg. La station d'essai, qui a duré 45 ans, a réalisé des essais variétaux pour les maraîchers d'Oderbruch. Le quartier de Herzershof a été nommé d'après le fermier à bail et le fonctionnaire de l'époque, Herzer.
