Alt Placht es una antigua aldea señorial que hoy forma parte del distrito de Densow de la ciudad de Templin en el distrito de Uckermark, en Brandeburgo. Es sede de una oficina forestal y es conocida por una pequeña iglesia de entramado de madera.
La localidad uckermarkense de Alt Placht se encuentra en el norte de Brandeburgo, aproximadamente en el centro entre Lychen y Templin, en un paisaje de colinas modelado por la última glaciación, en el parque natural de Uckermärkische Seen. Se sitúa en una zona rica en lagos y bosques, dominada por pinos, donde debido a los pobres suelos se practica muy poca agricultura. Desde hace más de 100 años, aquí se encuentra la sede de la oficina forestal de Alt Placht. La cantidad anual de precipitaciones es de 640 milímetros y la temperatura media anual es de casi ocho grados Celsius.
