Alt Placht is een voormalig landgoeddorp dat vandaag de dag tot de wijk Densow van de stad Templin in de Brandenburgse Landkreis Uckermark behoort. Het is de zetel van een bosbouw en is bekend vanwege een kleine vakwerkkerk.
Het Uckermärkse dorp Alt Placht ligt in het noorden van Brandenburg, ongeveer halverwege tussen Lychen en Templin in een heuvelachtige, door de ijstijd gevormde eindmorenenlandschap in het natuurpark Uckermärkische Seen. Het bevindt zich in een meren- en bosrijk gebied, dat wordt gedomineerd door dennen, en waar vanwege de arme gronden slechts weinig landbouw wordt bedreven. Al meer dan 100 jaar is hier de zetel van de bosbouw Alt Placht. De jaarlijkse neerslag bedraagt 640 millimeter en de jaarlijkse gemiddelde temperatuur ligt net iets onder de acht graden Celsius.
