Kaatschen-Weichau, con sus partes Kaatschen y Weichau, es una localidad no independiente que pertenece administrativamente al municipio de Großheringen en el distrito de Weimarer Land en Turingia. El lugar se encuentra en el valle del Saale, entre Camburg y Bad Kösen.
Kaatschen es un lugar de producción de vino en el sur de la región vinícola Saale-Unstrut. En suelos de piedra caliza se cultivan Bacchus, Gutedel, Kerner, Müller-Thurgau, Silvaner, Weißburgunder y - como uno de los lugares más al norte de esta variedad de uva roja - Zweigelt. Cada primer fin de semana de septiembre se celebra en Kaatschen-Weichau la fiesta del viñedo.
