La Galería de Nuevos Maestros en Dresde, con aproximadamente 300 cuadros exhibidos del siglo XIX y XX, se cuenta entre los museos alemanes de pintura moderna más importantes. Los principales enfoques de la colección son el romanticismo alemán, el realismo burgués de la segunda mitad del siglo XIX y el impresionismo.
La galería surgió en 1931 de la "Sección Moderna" de la Galería de Pinturas de Dresde.
La Galería de Nuevos Maestros forma parte de las Colecciones Estatales de Arte de Dresde. Desde 1965 se encuentra en el Albertinum en la terraza de Brühl.
