De Galerie Neue Meister in Dresden behoort met ongeveer 300 tentoongestelde schilderijen uit de 19e en 20e eeuw tot de belangrijkste Duitse schilderijmusea van de moderne tijd. Belangrijke verzamelfocuspunten zijn de Duitse romantiek, burgerlijke realisme van de tweede helft van de 19e eeuw en impressionisme.
De Galerie ontstond in 1931 uit de „Moderne Abteilung“ van de Dresdner Gemäldegalerie.
De Galerie Neue Meister maakt deel uit van de Staatliche Kunstsammlungen Dresden. Sinds 1965 is het gevestigd in het Albertinum aan de Brühlsche Terrasse.
