Spreewitz, en sorabo superior Šprjejcy, es desde 1996 un distrito de la comunidad de Spreetal en el distrito de Bautzen en Sajonia. Forma parte de la zona de asentamiento sorabo oficial en la Alta Lusacia. En la originalmente de habla soraba parroquia de Spreewitz se había desarrollado un dialecto de frontera sorabo conocido como el dialecto spreewitz.
Spreewitz se encuentra en el centro de un triángulo imaginario entre Hoyerswerda, Spremberg y Weißwasser, en la antigua carretera entre Spremberg y Hoyerswerda, en un paisaje densamente boscoso. Las localidades limitrofes son Zerre al norte, Neustadt al sureste, Burgneudorf al sur, el asentamiento de Spreetal al oeste y Schwarze Pumpe al noroeste. Parte del parque industrial Schwarze Pumpe se encuentra en el terreno de Spreewitz.
