Spreewitz, in sorabo superiore Šprjejcy, è dal 1996 una frazione del comune di Spreetal nel distretto di Bautzen in Sassonia. Fa parte della regione ufficiale di insediamento sorabo in Alta Lusazia. Nella comunità parrocchiale di Spreewitz, originariamente di lingua soraba, si era sviluppato un dialetto sorabo di confine chiamato dialetto di Spreewitz.
Spreewitz si trova nel centro di un triangolo immaginario tra Hoyerswerda, Spremberg e Weißwasser, lungo la vecchia strada tra Spremberg e Hoyerswerda, in un paesaggio fortemente boscoso. I comuni limitrofi sono Zerre a nord, Neustadt a sud-est, Burgneudorf a sud, il villaggio di Spreetal a ovest e Schwarze Pumpe a nord-ovest. Una parte del parco industriale Schwarze Pumpe si trova nel territorio di Spreewitz.
