La Reserva Natural de solo 0,81 hectáreas es la extensión de la Schwedenschanze, situada al oeste de Fürstenallee, en la Reserva Natural de Oesterholzer Bruch con Schwedenschanze. Al igual que esta, se trata de una duna que se utilizó en la Edad del Bronce para tumbas de túmulos. La Schwedenschanze, con su vegetación de árboles de hoja ancha, es además un monumento natural, y las tumbas están declaradas como monumento arqueológico.
