El Schwatte Gatt es un área de conservación y lugar de importancia comunitaria (LIC) cerca de Vreden en el distrito de Borken, en Westfalia. Fue designada como reserva natural en 1958 y ampliada en 1992 a su tamaño actual de aproximadamente 62 hectáreas.
El núcleo del NSG Schwattet Gatt es un remanente de un alto nivel de turbera. Esta área consta principalmente de praderas húmedas, en las que se encuentran incrustados tres cuerpos de agua. De estos cuerpos de agua, solo el más grande aún presenta una superficie de agua continua y abierta. Se mantiene mediante una presa en el borde occidental. La superficie del agua está casi completamente cubierta por el Nenúfar blanco. Los demás cuerpos de agua están casi completamente encharcados.
