La estación de tren Riegel-Malterdingen es una pequeña estación de conexión en el norte del distrito de Emmendingen, en la localidad de Malterdingen, justo en la frontera municipal con Riegel am Kaiserstuhl. Se inauguró el 1 de agosto de 1845 con la parte de la línea de Offenburg a Friburgo de la línea del valle del Rin. Desde 1894, aquí se desvía la línea Kaiserstuhl de la antigua empresa de ferrocarriles del sur de Alemania hacia Endingen, de la cual en Riegel Ort parte una rama en el borde oriental del Kaiserstuhl hacia Gottenheim, mientras que la otra va de Endingen, desde 1895, al oeste de la montaña hacia Breisach.
