El monasterio de St. Georgenberg es una antigua abadía de monjas cistercienses bajo el patrocinio de San Mauricio en la ciudad de Frankenberg, en el distrito de Waldeck-Frankenberg, en Hesse del Norte. El complejo de edificios de tres alas es hoy la sede de una delegación administrativa del distrito.
En el año 1242, Konrad von Itter fundó el convento de monjas Butzebach, en un lugar apartado en el valle de Nuhne, llamado "Butzebach", a unos 6 kilómetros al norte de Frankenberg, entre las actuales localidades de Schreufa y Sachsenberg.
