El castillo de Baldenau es la ruina de un castillo de agua en el Hunsrück, entre los pueblos de Hundheim y Hinzerath, ambos distritos de la comunidad de Morbach en el distrito de Bernkastel-Wittlich en Renania-Palatinado, justo al sur de la carretera de las alturas del Hunsrück B 327.
La ruina del castillo de Baldenau es uno de los pocos castillos de agua en el Hunsrück que se encuentra en un alto valle. El foso de la ruina, situada a 465 metros de altura en el borde norte del Idarwald, se alimenta del cauce superior del Dhron. La ruina, situada idílicamente en una zona pantanosa y raramente visitada, es accesible en cualquier momento.
