El Dollberg se eleva en la parte de Hunsrück del bosque alto de Schwarzwald, en la frontera de los distritos de Trier-Saarburg en Renania-Palatinado y St. Wendel en Sarre, y con 695,4 m sobre el nivel del mar es la montaña más alta de Sarre. Pertenece a los Dollberge.
El Dollberg se eleva en el parque natural Saar-Hunsrück, justo en la frontera norte del estado de Sarre con Renania-Palatinado, en el suroeste de los Dollberge. Su cima se encuentra a 1,4 km al sur de Neuhütten, que es una parcela de la montaña, a 3,5 km al norte-noreste de Otzenhausen, a 3,8 km al noroeste de Eisen y a 4,5 km al noreste de Nonnweiler en la parcela de Sötern, que se encuentra como parte del municipio de Nohfelden a 5,3 km al suroeste del Dollberg.
