Il Dollberg si innalza nel lato Hunsrück della Foresta Nera, al confine tra i distretti di Trier-Saarburg in Renania-Palatinato e St. Wendel nel Saarland, ed è, con 695,4 m s.l.m., la montagna più alta del Saarland. Fa parte dei Dollberge.
Il Dollberg si trova nel Parco Naturale Saar-Hunsrück, direttamente al confine settentrionale del Saarland con il Renania-Palatinato, nel sud-ovest dei Dollberge. La sua cima si trova a 1,4 km a sud di Neuhütten, che è un'area del monte, 3,5 km a nord-nord-est di Otzenhausen, 3,8 km a nord-ovest di Eisen e 4,5 km a nord-est di Nonnweiler, nell'area di Sötern, che è una frazione di Nohfelden, situata a 5,3 km a sud-ovest del Dollberg.
