De Dollberg rijst op in het Hunsrückdeel van het Schwarzwälder Hochwald op de grens van de districten Trier-Saarburg in Rheinland-Pfalz en St. Wendel in het Saarland en is met 695,4 m boven NHN de hoogste berg van het Saarland. Hij behoort tot de Dollbergen.
De Dollberg rijst op in het natuurpark Saar-Hunsrück, direct aan de noordelijke landsgrens van het Saarland met Rheinland-Pfalz, in het zuidwesten van de Dollbergen. Zijn top ligt 1,4 km ten zuiden van Neuhütten, dat een deelgemeente van de berg is, 3,5 km noordnoordoostelijk van Otzenhausen, 3,8 km noordwestelijk van Eisen en 4,5 km noordoostelijk van Nonnweiler in de deelgemeente Sötern, die als deelgemeente van Nohfelden 5,3 km ten zuidwesten van de Dollberg ligt.
