St. Johann es un distrito de la capital del estado de Sarre, Saarbrücken. Lleva el número de distrito 13 y tiene aproximadamente 30.000 habitantes. St. Johann fue elevado a ciudad en el año 1322. El 1 de abril de 1909, St. Johann se unió con las ciudades de Saarbrücken y Malstatt-Burbach para formar una ciudad con el nombre de Saarbrücken. La sede administrativa de la nueva comunidad urbana y la actual capital del estado de Saarbrücken ha sido y es desde entonces St. Johann.
