St. Johann is een stadsdeel van de Saarlandse hoofdstad Saarbrücken. Het heeft het arrondissementnummer 13 en ongeveer 30.000 inwoners. St. Johann werd in het jaar 1322 tot stad verheven. Op 1 april 1909 werd St. Johann samengevoegd met de steden Saarbrücken en Malstatt-Burbach tot een stad met de naam Saarbrücken. Het administratieve centrum van de nieuwe stadsgemeente en de huidige hoofdstad Saarbrücken was en is sindsdien St. Johann.
