St. Johann ist ein Stadtteil der saarländischen Landeshauptstadt Saarbrücken. Er trägt die Bezirksnummer 13 und hat etwa 30.000 Einwohner. St. Johann wurde im Jahr 1322 zur Stadt erhoben. Am 1. April 1909 wurde St. Johann mit den Städten Saarbrücken und Malstatt-Burbach zu einer Stadt mit dem Namen Saarbrücken vereinigt. Verwaltungssitz der neuen Stadtgemeinde und heutigen Landeshauptstadt Saarbrücken war und ist seitdem St. Johann.
