Wippra es una localidad de la ciudad de Sangerhausen en el distrito de Mansfeld-Südharz en Sajonia-Anhalt, Alemania. Es un lugar de recreo reconocido oficialmente.
Wippra se encuentra en el borde suroriental de Harz, a unos 13 km al norte de Sangerhausen, a una altitud de aproximadamente 320 m. La localidad se sitúa en el valle del Wipper, que fluye a través de Wippra, y está rodeada de densos bosques. Sin embargo, el bosque no siempre había crecido tan denso como hoy, ya que la minería de cobre de Mansfeld necesitaba grandes cantidades de madera tanto para la construcción de túneles como para el proceso de fundición.
