Se encuentra en la Alta Catedral de San Pedro en Tréveris, la catedral episcopal más antigua de Alemania y iglesia madre de la diócesis de Tréveris.
Las reliquias de la catedral de Tréveris se conservaron en una casa del tesoro construida alrededor de 1200 en el lado norte del coro. Después de que, desde el siglo XIV, la veneración de las reliquias en la catedral ganó cada vez más adeptos, se construyó alrededor de 1480 en el lado sur el Edificio de Baden, que aloja en el piso superior el archivo de la catedral y hasta hoy también el tesoro de la catedral.
