La Olef es un afluente de 27,9 km de longitud, orográficamente izquierdo del Urft en la Eifel en la provincia de Lieja, Comunidad de habla alemana y en el distrito de Euskirchen, Renania del Norte-Westfalia.
La Olef nace en la altura de Ramscheider, cerca del Zitterwald, a aproximadamente 2,2 km al suroeste de Hollerath a una altitud de 639 m sobre el nivel del mar, justo en la frontera entre Bélgica y Alemania.
