La capilla del castillo fue construida en 1658 con un notable altar barroco.
El "corazón de plomo", que se encuentra en una hornacina de la pared en el lado derecho del coro, fue encontrado en 1962 en la cripta de los muertos. En la caja de plomo reposa el corazón del conde imperial Christoph-Otto von Velen, que falleció en 1733.
