La aldea de Wehlen es una parte del municipio de Stadt Wehlen en el distrito de Sächsische Schweiz-Osterzgebirge en Sajonia.
La aldea de Wehlen se encuentra a cuatro kilómetros al este del centro de la ciudad de Pirna, en el noroeste de la Suiza sajona. Las localidades vecinas son Stadt Wehlen al sureste y el distrito de Zeichen de Stadt Wehlen al sur. Al suroeste limita con el barrio pirnés de Posta, al oeste con Mockethal. Al norte se encuentra Lohmen, y al noreste el distrito de Uttewalde de Lohmen. Al este, los campos de la aldea de Wehlen limitan con el bosque de Buschholz, que también pertenece a la localidad de Lohmen. Los campos de la aldea, que constituyen más de dos tercios de la superficie total del municipio de Stadt Wehlen y se extienden por un área relativamente redondeada de aproximadamente 3 por 2,5 kilómetros, se sitúan casi completamente en la meseta al este del valle de penetración del Elba a través de las montañas de arenisca del Elba.
