La iglesia evangélica de Nuestra Señora en la montaña es una iglesia gótica tardía en Penig, en el distrito de Mittelsachsen en Sajonia. Pertenece a la comunidad parroquial de Penig en la Iglesia Evangélico-Luterana de Sajonia y define el paisaje urbano de Penig.
La iglesia de Nuestra Señora en Penig fue inicialmente una iglesia filial de la iglesia de San Egidio en Penig y desde 1313 perteneció al patronato del monasterio benedictino de Chemnitz.
La nueva construcción de la iglesia gótica tardía comenzó con el alto torre cuadrada en la esquina noroeste de la iglesia en el año 1476. La construcción de la nave de la iglesia como un edificio de piedra sin enlucir se completó externamente en 1499; el interior se dejó sin pilares ni bóvedas. La consagración tuvo lugar solo en 1515.
