Hohenhausen es una localidad del municipio de Kalletal y su sede administrativa. Hohenhausen, con unos 3800 habitantes, es la principal localidad de Kalletal.
La localidad se encuentra en el estado de Renania del Norte-Westfalia, en el distrito de Lippe.
Está situada a 10 kilómetros al norte de Lemgo, 20 kilómetros al norte de Detmold, 28 km al noreste de Bielefeld, 21 km al sur de Minden y 14 km al suroeste de Rinteln. Hohenhausen se encuentra en el valle del arroyo Westerkalle a una altitud de aproximadamente 160 metros sobre el nivel del mar.
