Oberbauerschaft es una localidad del municipio de Hüllhorst en el distrito de Minden-Lübbecke. Con 10,04 km², es la parte más grande del municipio de Hüllhorst en términos de superficie y tiene un poco menos de 3000 habitantes. Por lo tanto, Oberbauerschaft también es la parte más grande en términos de población. Así, Oberbauerschaft representa el 22,4 % de la superficie y el 21,9 % de la población del municipio total de Hüllhorst.
Existen dos teorías sobre el origen de la actual denominación Oberbauerschaft: por un lado, el término podría derivar de la localidad de Stift Quernheim-Klosterbauerschaft, situada al sur; por otro lado, podría deberse a la estrecha relación con Lübbecke como "Überberger Bauerschaft", ya que desde la perspectiva de Lübbecke se encuentra más allá de la montaña.
