Rütenbrock es una aldea en el municipio alemán de Haren en el distrito de Emsland. La aldea se encuentra justo en la frontera con los Países Bajos cerca de Ter Apel. Debido a los precios más bajos de las casas en Alemania, numerosos holandeses se han establecido en la aldea.
Rütenbrock surgió como una colonia de turba en el siglo XVIII. El desarrollo de la zona fue posible después de que en 1764 la República y el Obispado de Münster delimitaran la frontera en la orilla izquierda del Eems. Los primeros habitantes que se establecieron en el área fueron agricultores de alforfón.
