La localidad de Buir [byːɐ̯] es el barrio más occidental de Kerpen en el distrito de Rhein-Erft en Renania del Norte-Westfalia.
Buir se encuentra completamente al oeste del área urbana de Kerpen y justo al lado de la línea de tren Colonia-Aquisgrán y de la autopista 4, que ambas pasan directamente al norte del lugar. A través de la localidad transcurren las carreteras estatales 276 y 327. Al norte de la localidad se extiende el resto del bosque de Bürge, que en gran parte ya tuvo que ceder ante la minería a cielo abierto de Hambach. Las localidades vecinas de Buir son Golzheim al sur, Blatzheim al este, Manheim al noreste y Morschenich al noroeste.
