En la comunidad administrativa de Osternienburg del distrito de Anhalt-Bitterfeld, 14 municipios se agruparon para llevar a cabo sus asuntos administrativos. A la existente comunidad administrativa de Osternienburg se unieron el 1 de enero de 2005 los municipios de Großpaschleben, Kleinpaschleben, Trinum y Zabitz de la comunidad administrativa disuelta de Ziethetal, así como el municipio de Libbesdorf de la comunidad administrativa disuelta de Oberes Ziethetal.
El 1 de enero de 2010, todos los municipios miembros se unieron en la comunidad unificada de Osternienburger Land. La comunidad administrativa fue disuelta.
