En la comunidad administrativa de Götschetal-Petersberg, en el norte del distrito de Saalekreis, en el borde del parque natural del Valle Inferior del Saale, se habían unido siete municipios para llevar a cabo sus asuntos administrativos. La sede de la oficina administrativa conjunta se encontraba en el barrio Wallwitz de Götschetal.
El 1 de enero de 2010, la comunidad administrativa fue disuelta por la fusión de todos los municipios miembros en la nueva comunidad unitaria de Petersberg.
