Cerca del "Puente Torcido" se encuentra otra atracción turística: el histórico puente del canal sobre el Stever, que conducía el canal Dortmund-Ems sobre el río. Fue construido en 1894 y se asemeja en su construcción al puente del canal sobre el Lippe (ver abajo). La ruta continúa hasta la histórica puerta de cierre en Olfen, donde se alcanza casi el final de la Vieja vía.
