In de buurt van de "Scheve Brug" bevindt zich een andere bezienswaardigheid: De historische kanaalbrug over de Stever, die het Dortmund-Ems-kanaal over de rivier leidde. Ze werd in 1894 gebouwd en lijkt in haar bouwstijl sterk op de kanaalovergang aan de Lippe (zie hieronder). De route gaat dan verder langs de historische sluis in Olfen, waarmee het einde van de Oude Vaart bijna is bereikt.
