La iglesia evangélico-reformada se encuentra en una colina a orillas de la Vechte en Emlichheim, una localidad en el distrito de Grafschaft Bentheim en Baja Sajonia. Pertenece a la Iglesia evangélico-reformada de la región.
La iglesia fue construida en el siglo XII con arenisca de Bentheim. En 1484, la iglesia de salón recibió su forma actual principalmente a través de una remodelación y ampliación. Tiene una nave con tres tramos rectangulares transversales y un coro estrecho con un tramo y cierre de 5/8. El originalmente torre cuadrada de dos niveles en el oeste fue desplazada hacia el norte en el siglo XIII, construida frente a la pared oeste de la nave y elevada en un nivel en 1558, dotada de un techo a dos aguas de pizarra de ocho lados, enmarcada por un ático perforado.
